# How to Make It:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
02 - Toss sliced plums with 1 tablespoon sugar in a small bowl and set aside to macerate.
03 - Whisk together flour, ground almonds, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
04 - Beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
05 - Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in vanilla and almond extracts.
06 - Add half of the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, pour in the milk, then add remaining dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
07 - Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Arrange sugared plum slices evenly over batter and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
